Our Managing Director, Aaron McNamee, has over 25 years experience in the building trade. He started his career as a bricklayer, after spending many weekends in his early teens labouring for his bricklayer father. This led to Aaron starting his own masonry company, which employed 15 bricklayers. They covered a variety of work, including brickwork and stonework, in both the new-build and the restoration/ heritage sector.
In 2015, Aaron joined a large building contractor, undertaking a role as contracts manager and overseeing numerous high-end residential projects of up to £10 million in value. Whilst overseeing the detail and coordination of many trades, he frequently used LIQUISCREED (formerly Patten Screed) to deliver on all his project screeding works. In 2022, the previous owner was approaching retirement and the prospect arose in to acquire the business. The opportunity excited Aaron, as he greatly missed the challenges and satisfaction of running his own business.

LIQUISCREED is a registered AA Cemfloor approved installer, and we believe cement based liquid screed has many advantages over other liquid flow screeds; with none of the hassle, time and expense of removing the laitance and using proprietary primers and floor adhesives.
